Baring Street is a project set in the heart of Islington to transform a family home. Our proposal encompasses a range of enhancements, including the demolition of the existing kitchen and the creation of a new rear extension. With modifications to the ground-floor layout and the addition of rooflights, we aim to elevate both the aesthetic and practicality of the home.

Further improvements include the installation of new glazing and the creation of a contemporary entrance boundary fence and gate. Careful consideration has been given to every detail, ensuring a balance between modernity and tradition.

Internally, the layout will be reconfigured as one of open-plan living, with the kitchen, dining, and living areas seamlessly merging into one. This redesign not only optimises space but also enhances functionality for modern family life.

Maintaining the scale of the existing house, our design approach seeks to enhance the rear of the property with a modestly scaled ground floor extension. Drawing inspiration from neighbouring properties and incorporating brick finishes, we aim to create a cohesive aesthetic that respects the heritage of the area.

Through thoughtful design and meticulous planning, we envision Baring Street as a beacon of contemporary living, integrating style, functionality, and heritage.
