Situated in the heart of Thornton Heath, the Bridport Road project reimagines a traditional home as a functional, light-filled residence tailored for contemporary family life. Our approach centers on a sensitive modernisation that seeks a harmonious balance between the property's inherent character and a refined, modern aesthetic.
The transformation begins on the ground floor, where we have reconfigured the front lounge and the rear kitchen-dining area to prioritise natural light and create a fluid, intuitive transition to the garden. By dissolving the barriers between these spaces, the design establishes an inviting, cohesive environment that serves as the heart of the home.
Ascending to the upper floors, our interventions focus on enhancing the spatial experience through targeted internal refurbishments and a reconfiguration of the loft staircase. These thoughtful adjustments are designed to optimise the home’s circulation and comfort, ensuring that every square foot is both purposeful and well-appointed.
Ultimately, this project represents a commitment to considered design elevating both the practicality and the atmosphere of the residence while honoring the architectural integrity of the property.
